SV Trip 2003: The birth place of the WIMP graphical user interface

A lot of early work on computing and graphical user interfaces was done at Xerox Parc, including the creation of the mouse and the common Windows, Icons, Menus and Pointer (WIMP) interface model. Parc is located close to Stanford University.
